The Wellness Center is a licensed Educational Health Center in the State of New Hampshire providing Health Services, Counseling Services and Health Promotion/ Educational Programming to support the physical health, emotional health and overall wellness needs of the SNHU campus community. All Wellness Center services are free and confidential and are provided by licensed medical and mental health professionals.

Medical Record Requirements
The Wellness Center is licensed by the State of New Hampshire as an Educational Health Facility and is here to provide medical and mental health care for campus students.
As a way to provide the best care possible and ensure the health and safety of the campus community, all residential students, full-time undergraduate campus students, international students, and full-time graduate campus students taking classes on the Manchester campus must provide the following medical record requirements prior to the start of classes on campus.
Requirements include:
- Health history form (including consent for treatment while on campus)
- Accurate immunization records
- Tuberculosis screen and any needed tuberculosis test results
- Physical exam report (sports physical required for all athletes within 6 months of term start, optional for all others)
You can submit your Medical Requirements by completing the following steps:
- Log in to my.snhu.edu
- Scroll to the bottom of the home page and click on Patient Portal/Medical Records under the Wellness heading
- Complete all forms under Required Forms, including the SNHU Medical Record Form
- Click the Upload tab and submit your documentation

Vaccination Policy
Immunization Requirements:
All residential students, all undergraduate campus students, all international students and all full-time graduate day campus students taking classes on the Manchester campus must provide complete and accurate immunization records. Students are required to provide proof of immunization against measles, mumps and rubella (MMR), hepatitis b series, meningitis (ACWY), tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis (TdaP, as well as the DTAP series), and two doses of the varicella (chicken pox) vaccine or proof of having had the disease. When appropriate, titers demonstrating immunity will be accepted.
Students are required to provide this information prior to the start of their first term taking courses or residing on campus. Failure to fulfill this requirement will result in the student’s inability to participate in academic, residential or co-curricular experiences.

Services
Health Services
Our health services staff members include two full-time Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN), and a full-time Registered Nurse (RN).
Health Services offers treatment of common acute problems (e.g., colds, flu, and burns), personal health counseling, education on preventative medicine, information on birth control, referral for sexually transmitted infections testing and assistance processing insurance claims. Health Services is a licensed facility and must follow guidelines established by the Department of Health and Human Services. If a greater level of care is required than can be provided by the Wellness Center, students will be referred to Urgent Care, the Emergency Room or, a local care provider as appropriate.
Counseling Services
Personal and emotional problems are a normal part of life. A student with many strengths and abilities may experience difficulties that can be effectively resolved through counseling. The counseling service offers professional trained staff to assist students in coping with problem areas in their life that might interfere with maximizing their college and life potential. We can assist you in assessing those areas and help you find new understanding.
Examples of some difficulties experienced by college students include problems in interpersonal relationships, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, poor sleep habits, anger, body image, conflicts with one's family, and grieving over the loss of a friend or family member.
Services provided by the counseling service are confidential and include individual and group counseling, referral to off campus resources, crisis assessment, consultation, educational programs and educational videos.
Health Promotion Services
Our health promotion and education programs are focused on helping students develop healthy lifestyles and address concerns before they need treatment.
We offer:
- Presentations on wellness topics for student groups
- Individual consultations with students
- Workshops and co-sponsored student activities
- Training for student leaders, faculty and staff
Mental Health Services
The Mantra Care Hub by Mantra Health is SNHU’s virtual mental health and well-being platform. Mantra Health offers services and resources to help you balance family, work and education, manage stress and build resilience.
Services include:
- Self-guided wellness modules
- Productivity and Wellness Coaching
- Peer mental health support via Togetherall
- Access to basic needs via Single Stop
- 24/7 crisis hotline through ConnectNow
- Telehealth counseling
