Dr. Hecox joined SNHU with more than 16 years of full-time corporate sport industry experience in areas such as licensing, global fitness equipment and sports club businesses. His area of research interest focuses on global product development and strategic alliances. Hecox has published several case studies on internationalization and experiential learning and serves on the editorial board of Case Studies in Sport Management (CSSM).
Outside of the classroom, Hecox consults for various companies in the sporting goods industry and new business startups. He's also an avid athlete with a love of golf, running, Taekwondo and triathlon events.

In her two decades with SNHU, Dr. Sheehan has not only taught sport management classes, but also served as the director for College Unbound, the Center for Community Engaged Learning and the Center for Teaching and Learning. Her professional service includes time as a manuscript reviewer for the Journal of Management Education, Academy of Management Education and Learning Journal and the Journal of Experiential Education. Sheehan is a member of the National Society for Experiential Education (NSEE), Management & Organizational Behavior Teaching Society and the North American Association for Sport Management.
