In the BA in Communication degree program, courses may include studio work, lab work or project-based courses with a mix of face-to-face and online formats. That means less seat time in traditional classroom settings, and more time engaging with faculty members, project leads and advisors. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to focus your studies with a minor in advertising, film, journalism, information technology or marketing, and electives in 3D animation and modeling, digital illustration and digital video production.

Jon Boroshok

Prior to SNHU, Jon Boroshok served as an adjunct instructor at Emerson College and Bentley University while continuing his 20-year career as a full-time public relations practitioner. At Bentley, he received the Curricular Service-Learning Faculty Award. Boroshok is also a journalist and freelance writer. He has written articles about the Olympics from a business perspective, including an article about sponsorship and athlete funding in a global economy, that were published in Newsweek and The Christian Science Monitor. His peer reviewed public relations tutorial appeared in The Journal of Hospitality & Leisure Marketing.

Alongside his teaching career at SNHU, Dave Hudson is president and founder of The Rider's Group, providing business consulting to startups of all sizes. Throughout his career, Hudson has founded, co-founded and presided over several business consulting firms. At SNHU, Hudson teaches public speaking, intercultural communication and media communications and visual literacy.
