Courses & Curriculum Go behind the numbers with on-campus accounting courses
In this 60-credit program, you'll gain a foundational understanding of accounting, including how to handle a company's finances, the basics of economics, statistics and how marketing plays a role in the world of accounting. Your courses will be taught by instructors with professional credentials and experience in accounting, taxation and fraud examination.
The credits you earn from this program can easily count toward our on-campus BS in Accounting and online BS in Accounting degrees. This means you could earn 2 degrees in the time it usually takes to get 1. Plus, if you'd like to become a certified public accountant (CPA), our BS in Accounting program is intentionally aligned with the 2024 Uniform Certified Public Accounting Examination®. However, it's important to note that completion of the BS in Accounting degree alone will not satisfy complete educational eligibility to sit for the CPA licensure exam or to become licensed certified public accountants in most states.
Learn from instructors with industry experience
Our faculty bring with them decades of knowledge and experience in accounting and finance, which informs the development of SNHU's courses and curriculum. They look forward to supporting your journey both in the classroom and as you work toward a career in your field.
